Give a little bit
 

• Write on the board the quotations from page 79: “We gain by being generous towards those around us” and “A lot of people would agree that it is more fun to give away a present that is appreciated than it is to receive a fine present yourself”.

  Ask the students to discuss the quotations in pairs.

• Pass out one slip of paper or index card to each student. Ask each student to write one “random act of kindness” that can be performed at work.

• The students now have ten minutes to mingle, exchange the cards with the acts of kindness, and practise various ways to express gratitude or accept thanks.

• Now hold a short feedback session. Pass out the sweets at the end of the lesson.
